Abstract

|
|
Intraabdominal packing with radiotapes for surgically uncontrolled hemorrhage from retroperitoneal injuries exacerbated by the hypothermia, acidosis and coagulopathy regained popularity over the past decade.
In this case, intraabdominal radiotapes packing was done for uncontrollable hemorrhage from retroperitoneal injury after cesarean section. As a result intraabdominal packing helped achieve hemostasis of coagulopathy due to massive transfusion in
the
face of surgically uncontrolled bleeding.
